As part of an international group and world market leader in its field, our client employs a total of around 8,000 people at locations in Europe, the USA, Southeast Asia and China. The manufacturing company in the metal industry offers high-quality product solutions for customers from industry, trade and crafts.

Your tasks

In this position you are responsible for day-to-day business in finance and accounting and work closely with a total of 10 colleagues in the financial department. You ensure the timely closing of accounts and high quality of accounting activities. You identify opportunities for improvement in the accounting processes and harmonize existing procedures. During year-end activities and the preparation of annual reports, you work closely with the team and department heads and are the first point of contact for auditors.

Your profile

You have a business degree with focus on finance/accounting and at least 5 years of professional experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage. You have knowledge of the HGB and basic knowledge of IFRS, experience in auditing would be desirable. In addition, you have solid knowledge of an ERP-System, preferably SAP-FI. Very good English skills are important, German will be an advantage.
